The key responsibility of these roles is to develop and lead all existing National Competitions (Men’s, Women’s, Youth and Futsal National Leagues as well as cup competitions) including developing a community competitions strategy that involves innovative competitions for Beach Soccer, FootGolf, and Masters Football.

The Head of National Competitions will also lead the operations team and ensure compliance with all FIFA and New Zealand Football rules and regulations as well as manage the implementation of a national IT system for Competitions, Membership and Registrations.

Both roles are based at New Zealand Football’s Head Office at QBE Stadium (North Harbour Stadium) and will involve travel throughout the country.

The Head of National Competitions will report to the Community Football Director with the Competitions Administrator’s position being a supporting role to the Head of National Competitions.

The successful candidates will need to be effective team players who have the skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain long term relationships with key stakeholders and partner organisations.  Experience in sport development, project management as well as managing and prioritising and completing multiple tasks/projects is a must.
