New Zealand Football is currently looking for a Competition Manager to join the Football Tournament delivery team for the World Masters Games 2017.
The key responsibility of this role is to design, implement and oversee the competition management of the World Master Games 2017, football tournament. Reporting to the Tournament Director, the role will provide an excellent participation experience and spectacular standard of competition for all involved.
The successful candidate will ideally have a relevant degree or relevant sporting experience, display excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have exceptional skills with managing relationships across a range of key stakeholders. The ability to develop competition draws and a strong attention to detail and work ethic that matches the fast paced environment of major events is equally important.
The role is a contract for services that begins as a part-time (0.5FTE) role before moving to full-time in 2017. It will be based at New Zealand Football’s Head Office at QBE Stadium (North Harbour Stadium).
